I have loved vintage beautiful things for as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until a few years ago that I realized that it was okay to surround myself with these things, and USE them on a regular basis. My style is a result of the people I love that surround me. My grandmother taught me to shop at “the junkers” for a good deal, and not be afraid to pick up the things that need a little TLC. I learned to sew at my mom’s side, watching her sew our dresses and costumes, and playing with the fabric scraps left over. My first sewing machine I inherited from her mother. My dad gave me a love for picking up the hammer and nails and paint brush, and the fearlessness for jumping into a home improvement project feet first. My husband is my wingman. He is always encouraging me to use my creativity, and is there to clean up my messes.
whimsical. offbeat. ready to love.
Whether through fabric, clay, or paint, I love bringing strange, weird, and adorable (and sometimes a bit creepy) creatures to life. The spill out of my imagination, and into the world, looking for family to love them and give them a home.
